Dr. Fathi was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. Wanting the best training possible and admittedly, warmer weather, he immigrated to the United States to pursue his doctorate in clinical psychology at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

He moved to Fairfield County for his postdoctoral residency, where he has lived since 2016 with his wife Katrina and their two cats, Max, and Molly.

Dr. Fathi is passionate about fitness and enjoys exercising daily including tennis, strength training, swimming, yoga, and, of course, his Peloton.
