On a Personal Level
Dr. Fathi with his wife cruising the Galapagos Islands
Dr. Fathi was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. Wanting the best training possible and admittedly, warmer weather, he moved to the United States to pursue his doctorate in clinical psychology at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He relocated to Fairfield County for his postdoctoral residency, where he worked as the director of a health center, and started Psych Fitness, a boutique-style private therapy practice, based in Westport CT.
After working in Connecticut for nearly a decade, he relocated to Palm Beach Gardens with his wife Katrina, their son, and two cats, Max, and Molly. Dr. Fathi is very passionate about fitness and enjoys a daily exercise routine including tennis, strength training, swimming, yoga, and, of course, his Peloton. Among his favorite hobbies are traveling (over 30 countries and counting), scuba diving, cycling, and relaxing on the beach.
